Dr Carina Fiedeldey-Van Dijk is president of ePsy Consultancy, a Research and Development Consulting firm based in Toronto, Canada. Carina consults for organizations to cultivate competence and foster a healthy work climate, achieve top performance, develop strong leadership, attract valued customers, and retain the best employees.
She also custom-develops and validates surveys and psychometric assessments, and statistically demonstrates the impact of company initiatives. She serves as the R&D arm and support for several service organizations worldwide. Carina holds a PhD (Psychology) with research methodology, social and cross-cultural psychology as areas of specialization. She also majored in mathematics and mathematical statistics, and taught research methodology and statistics at pre- and post-graduate levels at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, for 12 years. She has a proven record of accomplishment in both public and private sectors, and in academia: she has presented extensively at conferences, published in accredited journals, supervised graduate students, and served as reviewer and external examiner. Carina is accredited in several Emotional Intelligence assessments, notably the EQ-i, EQ-360, MSCEIT, TEIQue, SEI, SEI-YV and TEAM EI, as well as in other acknowledged psychometric assessments such as the 16PF, OPQ32, WPS (job analysis), among others. As a seasoned researcher, speaker, coach and trainer, she offers advanced EQ-i workshops for experienced practitioners. Carina authored the Advanced Interpretation Report (AIR), the Group Dynamics Report (GDR) series, and the Pickle-Stifle Personal Development Plan (PDP), insightful add-ons to the EQ-i.
