As HR Director, Louise is responsible for people, development and high performance throughout Thomas International, both within the UK and across our international partners.
Louise joined Thomas in 2013 as HR Manager following a generalist HR career within consumer finance and the pharmaceutical industry. As a result of her drive to build a process-driven infrastructure promoting a positive and fair working environment, Louise grew a new HR team to support Thomas through a period of change and growth and was promoted to HR Director within two years of joining the Thomas team. This business transformation has enabled Thomas to embrace a big company structure whilst maintaining a people-focused small company culture.
Louise is passionate about ensuring the HR function is both approachable and integrated across all areas of the business, driving the Thomas values through workplace engagement. Through approachability and fairness, Louise creates a strong rapport with her peers and brings enthusiasm to the team, discouraging attitudes of selfishness and negativity. She is a strong morale builder and instills confidence and trust in others. Louise enjoys trying out new and innovative ideas and being somewhat of a visionary, she has the ability to develop imaginative solutions to difficult problems.
CIPD qualified and with a French and Spanish degree from The University of Nottingham, Louise lives in Buckinghamshire with her three teenage sons.
