John’s specialties include talent identification, leadership and capability development, developing high performing teams, performance management as well as the strategic areas of HR and change. He holds a Master of Management specialising in People & Performance as well as an MBA.
Before joining Thomas, John originally trained as a mountaineering guide, He started his career working in learning & development designing and facilitating wilderness based personal transformation journeys, as well as team and leadership development programs before establishing a boutique consulting practice that performed end to end strategy, design work and solutions delivery in the areas of behaviour change, learning and talent development.
Wanting to develop more strategic HR skills, He embarked on postgraduate study at Macquarie Graduate School of Management and since then has applied his expertise in organisational development consulting roles at Egan Associates and NSW Health, and working with senior managers and leaders as a Performance & Development Coach.
Outside of work, John can be found spending time with his wife and 3 kids, usually outdoors at a park or a beach, cycling, or playing oztag, football or golf.
