We offer a range of one and two day public courses for practitioner certification in PPA, TST/GIA, EI and Thomas360. We also offer in-house training solutions based on facilitating behavioural change in the work place, including a course on Self-Awareness and Modifying Behaviour.
This is a two day course that will teach you the mechanics of the system, what it can do for your people and how it can help your business. It explains the background and theory to the system and the terminology used. It equips you with practical skills such as how to read a PPA profile, how to give feedback to candidates, how you can modify your behaviour to manage your team, how and when to use the assessments, the reports available and how an organisation can benefit from using them.
Each delegate receives a pre and post course tutorial for which a Thomas consultant will visit your offices. The consultant will go into more detail on business applications of the system and answer any specific questions you may have. Your consultant will also be on hand on an ongoing basis to develop the application of the system to support your human resource strategy.
This one day course will train you to administer Thomas' two aptitude and ability tests: Tests for Selection and Training (TST) and the General Intelligence Test (GIA), The course gives a detailed overview of the test themselves (the administration, how they are scored and how to interpret scores) what they measure (e.g. fluid intelligence), their applications (history and development) and the benefits if using them. It also explains how the tests can benchmark people in your organisation using case studies to illustrate this.
A one day course that will help you to understand Emotional Intelligence. It will enable you to work confidently with Thomas’ Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire to help your people recognize and manage their emotions and mange those of others so that they can be as effective and productive as possible at work. Each delegate will learn where EI can add real value to helping to select, coach, manage and develop people. The course will also enable them to give feedback in an effective and meaningful way.
PPA advanced is for qualified practitioners wanting to take their interpretation and feedback skills to the next level. It is a one day course that allows you to go into greater detail on the applications and uses of PPA in an organisation, using in-depth case studies that cover areas such as training, appraisal, change management and team assessment.
