Martin Reed
Martin is a hands on business leader who is driven to help Thomas International and its clients not only survive, but thrive during these tough times. A true visionary who has delivered business success through innovation for over 20 years.
As a self-aware and emotionally intelligent professional, Martin provides expert practical advice on business and people related issues. His goal is to ensure everyone in an organisation meets their full potential through managing their strengths, understanding their limitations and ensuring employees understand themselves and the impact they have on others.
Martin joined Thomas International’s sales team in 1991. He became top sales consultant in less than two years and was made Sales Team Leader (West London) shortly afterwards. In 1998, Martin opened Thomas’ Central London Office on Bond Street and later that year was promoted to UK Sales Director.
In 2000, Martin became Managing Director of Thomas International UK. In addition to building a more efficient sales force and growth revenue, he was pivotal in raising Thomas’ position within the academic community, which led to Thomas International and the
Thomas PPA becoming recognised by the
British Psychological Society (BPS).
Martin was appointed Chairman of Thomas International in 2005 and assumed dual responsibilities as Chairman and Chief Executive of Thomas UK and Thomas International in October 2007. He is a founding member of the Bucks Business First and he is a fellow of the
Institute of Directors (IOD).
Peter Farrow
As Managing Director of Thomas International UK, Peter is responsible for ensuring Thomas’ UK clients experience industry-leading customer support and service. Peter’s UK team comprises around 100 consultants, trainers, occupational psychologists, and customer service and support staff.
Peter joined Thomas International in 1997 and quickly became one of Thomas’ most successful sales consultants. Early on Peter began combining his sales role with client training, a successful combination which led to him becoming Sales Manager and then Sales Director for Thomas’ Southern region in the UK.
In 2005, Peter was promoted to the role of UK Sales Director and in 2006 oversaw the UK’s highest turnover since the Company’s inception. Peter became Managing Director of Thomas International UK in January 2007.
Prior to joining Thomas International, Peter spent several years in advertising as a media planner and buyer. He worked predominantly with Saatchi & Saatchi London.
Rod Cornwell
As International Business Development Director, Rod’s mission is to help Thomas' clients use psychometric assessments to transform the performance of their people - and ultimately their business. He works with Thomas’ global network of distributors to help clients recruit, retain, develop and manage high performance teams and individuals.
Rod also trains clients all over the world, from large corporates to the smallest businesses. And he’s often seen at events, on TV and in the media demonstrating the power that people assessments can bring to any organisation.
Having joined Thomas in 1999, Rod quickly became one of the Company’s most successful sales consultants. In 2000, he was awarded Thomas International’s Best Newcomer Trophy (UK). In 2005, Rod took on a new challenge as London’s Regional Director, and quickly put together a dynamic team working with him out of the newly refurbished London Office.
Since January 2008, Rod has been growing Thomas’ international presence, helping Thomas distributors all over the world grow and support their client base.
