About our Trainers
Tom Harvey
Tom Harvey spent 14 years in the Royal Navy and held a diverse range of jobs including running a transport company and being a manager for Whitbread Inns before joining Thomas in 1999.
Tom trains PPA, PPA Awareness and Self-Awareness and Modifying Behaviour in addition to running product knowledge courses for our consultants. Tom’s other great interest is politics and he can be found knocking on doors most weekends canvassing for the Conservative party.
Tracey Jones MCIPD

Tracey Jones worked in generalist HR for 12 years before specialising in Training and Development. Whilst working in this capacity Tracey was introduced to Thomas and quickly became a client. Five years later Tracey chose to make training and development her full-time career and began working as a Trainer for Thomas International. She specialises in delivering one and two day PPA workshops all over the UK.
Tracey is a Member of The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner.
Jan Kaye BA, MA

Jan is an Occupational Psychologist. After being in industrial relations with Ford Motor Company, she moved into H.R. management in the NHS followed by a large London Borough. She then became an Advisor with the Furniture and Timber I.T.B.
A self-employed consultant since the early 1980s she has undertaken a wide range of assignments in the areas of personal and organisational development for clients including Price Waterhouse, Rank Xerox and London University Bio-Engineering Centre.
Lois Nott
Lois has spent the last 15 years leading her own successful business and through this was introduced to the Thomas system. Having used PPA and EI with her team and finding it both fascinating and invaluable, she joined the Thomas training team. She enjoys training all PPA courses but has a real passion for emotional intelligence.
Lois is level A & B certified in Occupational Testing, is a NLP Business Practitioner and a professional coach. Lois also assesses leadership and management qualifications for a number of awarding bodies.
Suchi Pathak BSc, MSc

Suchi Pathak is Thomas' in-house Occupational Psychologist. She has a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Organisational Psychology, is Level A and B certified in Occupational testing and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Previously, she has worked as a Management Consultant dealing with personnel issues, a Consultant Occupational Psychologist in a training and development function and as a Trainer for an organisation specialising in practical business training for Managing Directors of SMEs. At Thomas Suchi trains our Aptitude and Ability assessment courses. As well as training for Thomas, she is also involved in product development, maintenance and translation.
Phil Swinard M.Inst.T.T.

Phil Swinard is an all round specialist, delivering workshops on PPA, TST, Diagnostics and Inter-Personal Skills programmes. He also runs Personal Assessment Centres and is BPS Level A and B qualified.
Phil worked in the aviation industry at Sales Director level until being promoted to Head of Recruitment and Training. Working in this capacity he became a trained Thomas User, and spent 12 years using the system to help the Directors at Unijet Holiday Group to grow the business and workforce from 80 staff to 1000. When Unijet was acquired by First Choice Holidays Phil left to work for himself, providing specialised sales, customer service and management training for clients such as Cathay Pacific Airways and Virgin. Phil joined Thomas as a full time trainer in April 2001.
Richard Whitehead MCMI

Richard Whitehead became a management consultant in 1992 after a career in the special steels industry in which he held posts of Managing Director and Chairman, both in the UK and overseas.
In 1994 he joined Thomas International as a consultant and, 2 years later, also became a trainer delivering PPA workshops. Richard then took over the training of TST and became a specialist in Competences and in the design of appraisal systems. Richard also conducts Diagnostic Reviews, looking at organisational and management problems.
