Four New Thomas Assessments Launched in UK

 

Thomas General Intelligence Assessment (GIA)

The Thomas General Intelligence Assessment (GIA) enables managers to predict a person's potential through measuring fluid intelligence. By measuring aptitude and ability the Thomas GIA gives recruiters and employers a better indication of how successful a candidate or employee will be in a given role. The Thomas GIA takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Employers choose from a range of tests including reasoning, perceptual speed, number speed and accuracy, spatial visualization and word meaning.

 

Thomas SkillsOnline

Thomas International’s SkillsOnline is a suite of over 100 tests designed to measure hard skills and competencies. Thomas SkillsOnline can be used as a development or recruitment tool to benchmark the skill levels of employees and identify what, if any, training needs to be provided. The Thomas SkillsOnline battery of assessments includes Microsoft Office, numeracy, spelling, secretarial, shorthand, data entry, call centre listening and keying, foreign language, audio typing and email/ Internet.

 

Thomas Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (EIQ)

Thomas International’s Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (EIQ) assessment measures an individual's capacity to understand and control their own emotions, and recognize and manage those of others so they are as effective and productive as possible at work. Thomas’ EIQ assessment consists of 153 questions and takes 20-25 minutes to complete. Upon completion, Thomas International’s Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (EIQ) assessment produces a Global Intelligence Score.

 

Thomas 360 Questionnaire

Thomas International’s 360 Questionnaire is typically used by managers as a component of the appraisal or performance review process. The Thomas 360 enables employers and their people to gather feedback from those they work with and compare it with their own perception of their performance. There are currently two Thomas International 360 Questionnaires available: Leadership and Sales (in the context of a field selling role). The Thomas 360 Questionnaire can be administered every 6 – 12 months, giving employees sufficient opportunity to agree and implement personal development plans.
